Publishing, Rebalanced.
Our Aim - Every submission read. Every author respected.
Why We Exist
Traditional publishing asks writers to wait in silence.
Work disappears into slush piles with no certainty it’s been read, no clarity about decisions, and no feedback when it isn’t right. Even skilled, professional authors are often met with indifference — not because their writing lacks merit, but because the system is overloaded and impersonal.
We believe that isn’t good enough.
Omelette Publishing exists to bring respect, fairness, and trust back to the publishing process. We put authors at the heart of what we do — not as hopeful applicants, but as creative partners. That means clear processes, open communication, and honest responses. Submissions are treated as work, not noise.
Readers matter deeply. But strong books begin with supported writers. When authors are taken seriously, the work is better — and the reading experience is richer.
We don’t promise to publish everything we receive. We do promise fairness. We promise that submissions will be properly considered, that decisions won’t vanish into a void, and that writers won’t be left wondering whether anyone was listening.
Omelette has been founded to prove that publishing can be principled as well as professional — and that doing things properly doesn’t mean doing things the old way.
